Taking Off-Site Student Registers

Whether you’re on the move with just your trip phone, or checking in from base on a laptop, TripPA Registers are always accessible. Open the TripPA app on Android or iOS to take registers on the go, or use the web app to access the same information from any browser.

If everyone is present, a full register can be completed in just two taps. Marking students as late or absent is just as quick.

Taking Off-Site Students Registers has never been easier

Filter by Year, Class or Custom Group

Managing registers for large off-site events, such as sports days or multi-coach visits, can quickly become overwhelming. With TripPA Registers, staff can instantly filter the register to show only the students they are responsible for, whether by year group, class/form, or custom group.

If you already use TripPA’s Group Manager to organise students into coaches, activity groups, or minibuses, you can now take registers for each of these groups separately.

Viewing Past Registers

Accurate record-keeping is essential on school trips. TripPA automatically logs every register entry, making it easy for both trip staff and admin teams back at school to review who was registered, when, and by whom.

Each entry is timestamped and linked to the staff member who took it, and individual students can be quickly located using the search function. This provides schools with a clear, auditable record of off-site student registers whenever it’s needed.

Updating Register Entries

We all know that some students arrive just after the register has been taken! If a register needs updating, changes can be made quickly and easily. All updates are logged and timestamped, maintaining a clear and accurate record.
