We are thrilled to introduce TripPA, a groundbreaking app designed to revolutionise the way school trips are organised and communicated. Inspired by a deep belief in the power of marginal gains in improving teachers work-life harmony, and a commitment to enhancing children’s educational experiences, TripPA aims to simplify the complex process of trip planning while addressing key challenges faced by schools today.
The inspiration behind TripPA
As educators ourselves, we understand the importance of school trips in enriching students’ learning experiences. However, we also recognise the hurdles that teachers face in organising these trips, from navigating funding constraints to managing administrative tasks and ensuring student safety. It became evident that there was a need for a centralised solution to streamline trip planning and communication, thus TripPA was born.

TripPA targets three primary challenges faced by schools:
- Lack of centralised information: With TripPA, schools have a centralised platform for all trip-related information, eliminating the need to juggle multiple documents and emails.
- Data Security Risks: We prioritise the highest levels of data protection, ensuring that only authorised individuals have access to trip details while safeguarding student privacy.
- In-Trip Communication: Our innovative “Moments” feature provides a safe social media platform for teachers to interact with parents during the trip, fostering engagement without compromising student safety

- Real-Time Itinerary Updates: Parents and designated trip coordinators can access and update trip itineraries in real-time, ensuring everyone stays informed.
- User-Friendly Interface: Whether you’re an Educational Visit Coordinator (EVC), teacher, or parent, TripPA’s intuitive design makes trip planning effortless and enjoyable.
- Seamless Integration: TripPA integrates seamlessly with existing school systems, initially supporting CSV file imports with plans to expand compatibility to a range of Management Information Systems (MISs).
- Enhanced Efficiency: By storing all trip documentation in one accessible location, TripPA reduces the need for extensive email communication and streamlines the approval process for EVCs.

While we’re excited to unveil the initial version of TripPA in July 2024, our journey doesn’t end there. We’re already planning for version 2, which will feature updated functionalities, including the highly anticipated risk assessment function, slated for early 2025.
